Char dham Yatra

Char dham is popularly known for it’s Pilgrimage destinations. Where all devotees visit and take darshan of this temple. Millions of devotees daily visit here and take darshan. Mostly Hindu devotees daily visit here and take darshan. Char dham is a pure word. It defines as a char means 4 and dham the pilgrimage or shrines. Where all the devotees come here for darshan in one’s in a lifetime. The char dham connects through 4 sacred places such as Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Which is also called “CHOTA CHAR DHAM”.

BADRINATH:



Badrinath is one of the char dham and chota char dham pilgrimage sites. Devotees visit here for darshan. Mostly Hindu devotees visit here one’s in a lifetime for darshan. It’s very spiritual temple or shrine here where all the devotees visit here with a pure heart and while dipped into the holy water of Alaknanda river where all the devotees wash their all the sin.

Badrinath Temple is the only temple among the four char dham pilgrimage sites which is located in Himalaya region and surrounded by snow-clad mountains. It is also a part of one of the Panch Badri temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The main Shrines at Badrinath temple is a 33ft stone image of Lord Vishnu, in the form of Badrinath. Lord Vishnu resides under a Badri tree (a berry tree).    

KEDARNATH:

Kedarnath is one of the char dham and chota char dham pilgrimage sites. It’s a Lord Shiva’s temple. Lord Shiva do (tapasaya) over there for many years. Kedarnath temple has a mythological connect. Pandavas get to know this information and follow the lead from Kashi to Uttarakhand. Later, they identified the bull as Lord Shiva and begin to pray for his blessings. For Hindus, it is a place to be wash your sins and achieve a position in heaven. Hindus beliefs were highly reached.

They believe in Lord Shankara. Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Devotees visit here with pure heart and feel the peace over there. Kedarnath crossed five rivers namely Mandakini, Madhuganga, Cheerganga, Saraswati and Swarngauri. These five rivers have their mythological connect. Kedarnath temple lies in the foothills of Himalayan range at an altitude of 360m above the sea level near the Mandakini River.

GANGOTRI:

Gangotri is the place dedicated to the holy river ganges as ganges referred to the “Maa Ganga”. Millions of devotees visiting here one’s in a lifetime. It is a Hindu Pilgrimage town on the banks of river Bhagirathi situated in Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand. It is indeed an important part of the cultural and spiritual heritage of India. Ganga and Gangotri constitute essence of Hinduism. The blissful aura of this place certainly absolves one of all sins. Devotees visit here for getting Moksha and Nirvana.

YAMUNOTRI:

Yamunotri temple is devoted to the Goddess Yamuna and the holy thermal springs at Janki Chatti (7 Km away).Yamunotri is a sacred encircled with mountains, greenery and purity. It is first among the destinations of the Chardham that is chota char dham. Yamunotri is located at a fluttering heights of the Himalaya, in Garhwal, Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand.

The real source of the holy river Yamuna is a frozen lake of ice and glacier which is known as Champasar glacier on the Kalind mountains. As per the mythological connect, goddess Yamuna was the daughter of Surya Dev and goddess Saranyu and was the sister of Yama Dev. Therefore, it is strongly believed that any devotees takes a holy dip in the Yamuna river and wash all their sins.
