Odisha, an eastern Indian state on the Bay of Bengal, is known for its tribal cultures and its many  ancient Hindu Temples. The capital, Bhubaneswar, is home to hundreds of temples, notably the intricately- carved Mukteshvara. Odisha nestled in the lap of Eastern Ghats and fed by the tides of the Bay of Bengal, Odisha is a beautiful state with pristine beaches majestic mountains, dazzling rivers, enchanting waterfalls and a vivid flora and fauna. Do You Know? Odisha has a 3 billion years of old rocks. Yes you heard it right! The oldest rocks from Mayurbhanj dates back to 3 billion years.

Odisha has a beautiful pristine beach. The Chandipur beach is a hide and seek beach of Odisha that appears and disappears with every high and low tide to approximately. The Gahirmatha beach in Odisha’s Kendrapada district in the world’s largest nesting ground for the endangered Olive Ridley Sea Turtles. The sea turtles come to breed from Srilankan coast. You can also enjoy the snowfall at Daringbadi and it is also known as the ‘Kashmir Of Odisha’, Daringbadi receives snowfall in winters-unexpected for a place in Odisha.

1: PURI

JAGANATH TEMPLE, PURI

Puri in Odisha is one of the four must-visit pilgrimage sites for Hindus because of Joganath Temple that forms the part of chardham in India. Puri is a beach city located on the coast of Bay of Bengal which is one of the favorites among people of west Bengal for a short trip. It is known as the resting place of Lord Shiva, the majestic and heritage of Puri date back to the 3rd century B.C. Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar complete the Golden Triangle of Orissa.

2: KONARK

SUN TEMPLE, KONARK

Konark, in the state of Orissa is renowned world over for the Sun Temple. Konark Sun Temple is an architectural Marvel and is one of the most beautiful monuments of India. The Annual Dance Festival is a five day- long cultural extravaganza which invites unique dancing talent from all over the country. The celebrations happen with the backdrop of the Sun Temple adding grandeur and magnificence to the whole program.

3: CHANDIPUR

CHANDIPUR BEACH

Chandipur beach is a phenomenal beach that glorifies the beauty of the state of Orissa, phenomenal being the keyword. That the sea disappears during the day. That’s why it is called the ‘Hide and Seek Sea’. One of nature’s truly wondrous works is how the sea at this beach recedes up to 5 km during the ebb and then comes back to fill the emptiness with the high ride.
